Quality #1

Call for Price

Sometimes our unbelievable prices (see ' How do we offer such unbelievable pricing ') cause customers to think that we cut corners on quality.  This is the farthest thing from the truth.  In fact, we spend more time discussing and improving quality than any other issue.  Our quality concerns ensure that you receive a safe product that will work for many years.

Our auto lifts, tire machines, and other shop equipment are built in factories that carry ISO9001 Quality Certification.  This is the internationally accepted quality control standard.  ISO9001 is overseen by an independent third party with no vested interest in the company seeking certifications.  Our products also carry the CE mark.  This is a mandatory safety mark and ensures that your products are tested and safe.  All of our auto lift power units carry the CE mark.  Some companies advertise an American made power unit.  There is no such thing.  The most recognized power unit in the industry has a plant next door to our plant in China.  We could literally walk across the street and pickup "American Made" power units.  Now, there are some American assembled power units and we will be happy to take your power unit apart and re-assemble it in America if you want us to.  See ' About Us '

National Auto Tools routinely pulls random equipment from our inventory for inspection.  We check to make sure all components are included.  We then install the auto lifts, tire machines, and other shop equipment and run a series of pre-determined tests.

We employ our own technicians who routinely install our equipment for customers.  By doing this we get "hands on experience".  We know if everything went together properly, what it is like to install our equipment in the field, and if the installation could be done by the customer.  This process has helped us give you vastly superior equipment.  If something is wrong, or even hard to assemble, we know immediately and can correct the problem.

Many companies tell you they have a say in or control of their factories.  They don't have any control and this little story might show that.

"A customer recently called and wanted to buy five lifts.  His one request was that he wanted a special color.  We told him no problem and quoted him a price.  He felt that the price was too high and said he would find another company to buy from.  We thanked him for considering us and told him good luck.  A week later he called back and ordered the lifts.  He told us he called every company on the internet and they all had a sales pitch, however no other company could supply lifts in the color he wanted.  If our competitors really had control of their products, why could they not even get a special color for this gentleman?  You figure it out.  How can they control the quality of their lifts if they cannot even control the color?"
